A little about me....

I'm an artist...I've always had an interest in art. In grade school my teachers saw my talents in art class with my masterful watercolors. I always knew art was going to be my field from an early age...or science - I was always fascinated with science, nature, bugs, and the environment too. Photography came into the game when I got my first camera in high school and it has stuck ever since (see my photography site). I eventually decided that art was my forte and graduated from college with an emphasis in graphic design. I found that graphic design fulfilled both my artisticness and perfectionism...and photography was a good fit as well. Now I have more than 18 years of professional experience in the design and direction of creative projects.

As a graphic designer it's important that I know my clients and their business. I listen to understand their needs, take their intangible ideas, and creatively mold them into unique solutions for their needs.

I use my creative abilities to give your communications piece top-notch attention. I have a keen eye for layout, color, and typography, as well as photography, to develop a great design. I know the printing industry well and work comfortably in today's digital world. I can pull together all your visual needs from print to web in a one-stop-shop.

I have worked for various companies, non-profits, and government agencies in the past and am now my own boss as a freelancer. I now travel the world with my wife whose career with the U.S. Government has led us to living abroad. This is truly an exciting experience and adventure for us. My profession is one that is very portable allowing me to utilize my talents from anywhere in the world thanks to the internet. I have all the modern conveniences of communication: internet, email, video conferencing, VoIP telephone and fax. There's not much difference whether am working in your four-walled office or working virtually...I still get the job done.
